    An SSL connection without an SSL certificate on the box has never worked.

    Try this:


    curl -k -v -u root:enigma2 --tlsv1.2 https://localhost:9091/transmission/rpc


    Or buy a domain and get an SSL certificate for each box with Let's Encrypt, or use a self-signed SSL certificate and suppress the error message.

    I know and also with --unsecure its not working i will give another try this evening to find out where is the problem

    create a /etc/transmission-daemon/settings.json

    create selfsign ssl with

    openssl req -new -x509 -days 365 -nodes -out transmission.crt -keyout transmission.key

    copy the files to

    /etc/transmission-daemon/

    start remote


    transmission-remote --ssl -n {YOUR_USERNAME}:{YOUR_PASSWORD} https://localhost:9091/transmission/rpc -a <torrent-file>


    trust


    cp /etc/transmission-daemon/transmission.crt /etc/ssl/ca-certificates/transmission.crt

    update-ca-certificates

    Ok i will try it tonight

    By the way the setting file is generated auto in media/hdd/transmission/settings


    And thats why i was all time wrong


    Yes the new version need settings file in etc



    So i will try your suggestions and if everything work please fix it in next update then the users will not have issues and thank you very much

    i check add some settings default to the ipk

    ssl i can create silent

    openssl req -x509 -newkey rsa:4096 -keyout transmission.key -out transmission.crt -days 1825 -nodes -subj "/CN=localhost"


    and tls options to init.d script , i check tomorrow , now em2024

    I can only speak for the AX HD61,but here with ATV 7.4 Chromium/YouTubeTV work´s without problems

    Yes it pass the ssl verification but their is something missing


    Still no torrent is added to daemon

    I will try with my osmio4k+ with ATV 7.4 from today,if there is a crash too,if I will make a Fullbackup of the Image.
