  • Flash dead ?

You can try to use another Power Supply... as writting the Flash needs a good Power Supply, and if it's dying, it could be the reason... it needs 12 Volts... but 5 Amp (older boxes DM800HDse, were using 2-3 Amp).

You were not using multiboot, correct ?

    TS

  • Hi sir

i don't have any power supply, i have to find or buy some

i just hve the default power supply.

no i have never used any multiboot

When did you bought that box ? As the PSU often fails after 3-5 years... it could be the first thing to check. If with a good new 5 Amp PSU, you have the same problem, then it could be the Flash chip... or even the CPU chip (worst case).

  • i found the problem :

look, the default target device is /dev/mmcblk0p2 but in my device all addresses are something else (mtdblock0,1,2,3,4) :

  • 1* what PC do you use...??

2* the front lights up...only red LED,

3* if you are near Milan I can give you a hand....and then if you can use DCC to enter the decoder to change the boot folder...I have I did a similar thing on Mutants 51 4k, I managed to restore it with the files that I posted on a forum that I changed in the decoder and it worked restored by installing soft with USB.
