    I wonder if I can configure Wireguard with this plugin to connect to my own remote Wireguard server and to be able to access the Zgemma H7S box from my remote location (LAN to LAN, I guess).

    So that I can access Openwebif from my remote location with the box IP?

    You can't use the WireGuard plugin at the moment, I haven't included a port forwarding option.

    The server must also be set up with port forwarding.


    To do what you asked I use another plugin of mine, I will release it for other images as soon as my friends test it.

    Works in parallel with WireGuard in p2p.

    I connect to tailscale IP without creating/configuring the firewall for port forwarding.

    Looks really interesting. Didn't use tailscale yet.

    Could you explain in bit more detail how will this work?

    Basically, I want to have access to a remote enigma2 box via a Wireguard tunnel, from my local LAN.

    I run a Linux server at home, everything in Docker.

    It's simple, just register on Tailscale, create the private key and paste it into the directory on the receiver.
    The plugin/tailscale will give you an IP, with that IP you can connect locally/remotely.

    Interesting, I'll give Tailscale a try and read in more depth.

    Yes
    Everything works and quickly, as if it were working locally.

    Just thinking out aloud now: if I have a Linux server at both A and B location, then I can configure Tailscale on these two nodes and I have access to all the devices on both location's local network? Or it must run on the Enigma2 device too?

    Yes
    Everything works and quickly, as if it were working locally.

    I tried Tailscale - the Remote node (Linux server) where the Enigma2 is located in local network was configured as subnet - so I had access to box without running Tailscale on box. Actually it workes really nice. First ping (the one crates the tunnel) is higher, but then it defaults to avarage ping and speed I have with plain WG.

    I returned to have plain WG site-to-site between two servers on router level (easier, as no routing is required).


    Once you have the Tailscale plugin for E2 ready it would be a nice addition - as in that case it is very simple to connect to only E2 box.

    Unfortunately I don't remember, and it's been some time since I installed it.
