Ah, weird it worked very well before and if you contact openpli, and they are right, it is up to the plugin designers to adapt to the images and not the other way around....

Yes, back then the scarthgap feed was fine. Now it's not due scarthgap build issues.

WireGuard VPN plugin works fine on OpenPLi if all dependencies for your box are installed.

If the feed doesn't work or incomplete, the dependencies aren't installed and the WG plugin won't work.

The dependentcies are not there on the open pli feeds no matter what route I take opkg or w-get. Either that or the path to them is wrong.

Contacted Openpli and they will fix it in the next versions, there were problems with Scarthgap updates....

For me, the latest version of Wireguard 15.5 (py 3.12) doesn't work on the Egami 10.6 r14 image.

As soon as the box is installed, it keeps giving errors and restarting.

I installed it in three ways (IPK, directly from the box feeds and telnet command), in all of them I get the same error, so I reinstalled version 15.4.

In OpenATV 7.5.1, OpenATV 7.6 and Last Openpli works fine!

Since version 15.2, you have (rightfully) added the ability to check for and install WireGuard dependencies if needed.

The process happens instantly and is unnoticeable to the user. The same is true for me on the Octagon sf8008.

However, on the Edision osmio4kplus, this process takes several seconds, and it’s quite annoying to see this window appear every time I launch the plugin.

Since I know that the necessary dependencies are already present on my box, I had to replace the CheckDeps.sh script with an empty file to avoid the check.

Could you add an option in the settings so that the user can enable/disable the WireGuard kernel module check process during startup?

Python 3.9 (ARM) doesn"t fit I don"t do it anymore

There’s no actual problem — the plugin runs normally.

It’s just that every time it starts, this annoying window appears (module check), and after about 5 seconds, the WireGuard window shows up.

I don’t know if that’s the expected behavior, but on the Octagon sf8008 the process is so fast that nothing shows up on screen at all.

I'm using OpenATV 7.6. It's possible that some file is corrupted.

I restored an old backup of OpenATV 7.5.1, installed the latest WireGuard version 15.5, and it runs normally without showing the annoying window.

I’ll probably need to do a clean installation of OpenATV 7.6 and check the results.

sorry...but after installation of the last Wireguard plugin on my octagon with opena tv 7.5 my box goes always on crash..

Updated to openpli 9.1 31-07-2025 and wireguard plug in still wont load the dependentcies. Vu solo 4k.

After the online update 15.5, the box crashed. Wireguard was deleted, as were all settings. I'm back on 15.2...everything's fine there.
