    Perhaps iptv or vpn suppliers limitations are you using a free or paid for vpn ? tried other vpn servers.

    Probably because you disconnected from vpn server don't think anything to do with wirguard plugin.


    But to be honest I would not know yest my wirguard is connected all the time but I do reboot device and also not connected to iptv for 5 days.

    Hi, try this, from the plugin settings set to NO "Stop the service playing" after Save, connect to a VPN server, play an IPTV content, run the WireGuard plugin and change servers while an IPTV content is playing, tell me if the playback resumes when you change servers or if you have a block and you have to wait for the logout from the IPTV server.

    Hi, playback stops and doesn't resume. Have to reboot to make IPTV work again.

    If the IP address changes, the IPTV server won't let you login. Either you need to kick it in or you have to wait for the automatic logout.

    So, if you're connected to a VPN server and for some reason the server changes its IP address, you won't be able to watch. This can happen after 5 hours, as you mentioned, or after just a few minutes.

    I installed OpenATV 8.0 on my Octagon SF 8008 4k today and except Wireguard, everything works including eStalker.

    Its for early testing that the normal user like u havent any problems to use it in the future, so im not sure who is the moron .

    2 possibilities for errors i see here:

    *Ur internet provider

    *Ur vpn provider


    If i were u , i would:


    1. Use an mobile Hotspot with some bandwith and data cap. To rule out the Provider

    2. Use an other vpn provider, some are disconnecting if they think the data usage is too heavy, this could also be the issue.

    I’ve spent two days trying to get “VPNManager”, “nordvpn.com.udp.ovpn” and “ChatGPT” to work, but it’s driven me crazy after multiple attempts to make changes using FileZilla Client and PuTTY!


    I live in France and would like to watch films from the German Mediathek.

    I have an Octagon SF8008 V3 SUPREME 4K UHD Combo with OpenATV 7.6.0.


    The WireGuard speed test works, but I don’t know which server to use.

    I have a NordVPN account and a “nordvpn.com.udp.ovpn” file.

    Can WireGuard and this file work together?

    I am using Nord VPN with wireguard and it works great.

    No, you can NOT use wireguard with open VPN together, so you have to disable/uninstall it first and then install wireguard and Set it up from settings. It's not that hard. You can even ask chatgtp for detailed instructions.

    Now about if it will unblock the content you want to watch, firstly you should start trying out servers and see, but even so there is a chance it will not work as many providers blacklist the VPN given IP.



    Btw. Do u know if openvpn is working with 8.0 alpha yet
