    Good morning everyone, I'd like to explain my problem. I have two decoders, a Vu+ duo2 and a Vu+ duo 4K. I'm having the same authentication problems with PiaVpn. They keep giving me the same authentication error. I use OpenATV version 7.6 on both. Is it possible that even sending the command via telnet, as I read in a post here, doesn't save my data? Now my question is this: "Will the file be write-protected?" Can I enter my data via FTP? Thanks.

    Im not sure what un want to achieve and i dont know the certain post with the telnet command.

    But its has nothing to do how u get access to.

    It depends which permissions ur file or folder has and this u change with commands like chown,chmod.


    telnet is the old protocol , u should use an terminal over ssh its more stable and secure (not so much important on local network)


    but sometimes if the box stucks and u want to get access, may telnet is still working.


    neverthless if u want to get over ftp/sftp its also possible.

    So far, I've been using WireGuard by Madhouse and NordVPN via Token. But now I want to try ProtonVPN Free. Unfortunately, I'm completely lost. I created the .conf file using the Proton website—and now I don't know what to do next... Can someone please help me?

    quick question: If I put the device into standby mode and turn the receiver back on later, the VPN connection (Proton Free) is no longer active. How can I fix this?

    I'd like to ask you to add AmneziaWG 2.0, a fork of WireGuard, to your plugin. "AmneziaWG is a modification of the WireGuard protocol,
    created to bypass DPI (Deep Packet Inspection),
    which disguises VPN traffic as random data or other protocols.
    The primary bypass method is adding the Jc (random data),
    Jmin, Jmax (size), and Mac (header masking) parameters to the config, making the traffic

    I have the same Problem with Egami 11 r20 VU+ Zero4k. I can only fix this if I launch WireGuard after every restart and then restart the network using the blue button.

    May u right i had also an sf8008 here and it doesnt occour.


    But yeah it could be worse .... like the fact that my killswitch isn t working anymore i know that a few month before i tested this the last time and everything works flawless.


    so has sth. changed on the network stack or iptable , does anyone have also some issues with this ?

    I tried to simulate an disconect and it seems working as expected:

    I am using VU Ultimo 4K with PIA. WireGuard version 16.2, Open ATV image all up to date.

    It has been working brilliantly, but for at least two days (I didn't use it for several days, so could be more than two days) it no longer works.


    I always get this error message no matter what server I try to use. I have double-checked my username and password, and they are correct. PIA:authentication failed. Check username and password


    Any advice greatly received.

    I have just successfully logged on to their website so that confirms that my logon details are correct, so what is stopping me using WireGuard any more?

    Not working anymore for 2 days now, DB1 ATV 8.0 beta , WireGuard version 16.2

    It began with WG disconnecting when I switched channels and then completely stopped working .

    Any suggestions ? Tried to reinstall and controlled pkey, nothing works.

    Without an log, may it enough to use the Plugin backup function on an stick and just reinstall the plugin.
