Just wondering if there is a reason (and solution) for YT streams that stopped playing since yesterday. See also my post on https://forums.openpli.org/top…-youtube-stopped-playing/. I was still using streamlink 7.6.0 on openpli 9.1 (python 3.9) and worked flawless until a change was implemented...

Just installed a fresh box but youtube streams are currently dead. Other streams (non YT) don't have a problem and continue to work. Can it be confirmed that YT has changed ?

This issue is related to Google servers (YouTube) denying access for streamlink library's HLS reader. As far as I understand, the library developers are aware of the issue and are working on a solution. In the log, it looks like this

Setting up OpenPli 10 (Beta version) and installation plugins.

Ignoring the installation details, I tried to use to play a YT stream, but ...

Looking into my filesystem, I'm lacking streamproxy in site-packages. What did I do wrong ?

I don't know what OpenPli 10 is or where to get it, but I installed the first image I found (OpenATV 7.6). I downloaded the 8.1.2 installation package and copied it to /tmp/, then ran the installation command in the terminal.

Thank you for your help in this. Good to see that it is working as designed on your hardware. My older box Vu+ Solo SE has the OpenPli - Scarthgap build (future OpenPli 10) via https://openpli.org/download.

This is still a non production box (only test), but its the 1st Openpli version that meets the Python > 3.9 requirement needed for version 8.x.x

I do get installation errors, but can't see where the issue occurs

I started all over again... I like Openpli, so why change to a more loaded image. Manually unpacked the ipk as suggested and copied the files to the correct location. Now it works, but not via installation with opkg. Thanks for the help.

OpenPli isn't member of the oe-alliance team. So I think the persons who have problem to install the package on this image have to report the problem on the OpenPli forum. OpenPli is developing their images regarding none of the rules applied to the oe-a images and this generate a lot of problems.

--force-reinstall didn't work out. Got a hint to install it manual by unpacking the ipk and that worked. But still decided to go for a fresh start anyway.

So, you need to download the Skylinescams plugin source code and copy it to the /plugins folder in the Streamlink library. Skylinescams.py is not included in the Streamlink library by default.

The problem is that I only have YouTube cams and Skylinecams on OpenPli 10 and also on my OpenATV 7.6. I'd like to keep it that way, but Twitch isn't working, and I'd like that too. I'm also running OpenPli 9.2, and YouTube cams and Twitch cams work fine there. I'd like to have everything on OpenPli 10 and OpenATV 76. Someone gave me this file. When I installed it on OpenPli 10, I only had YouTube and Twitch cams. So no Skylink cams.

Can someone help me get all three? I'll include a short channel list and the plugin I received.
