  • Hello guys, so apparently I bricked my Zgemma H9.2s tuner.
I've tried to update it, it had OpenPLI 7.3 version, in Update image section on my tuner. I plugged USB stick, chose image and then error pop up about failed to updating and something about rootfs.
Then nothing worked, I've tried several USB sticks, 32GB FAT32 with different images etc, nothing worked. When turning on, only Hisillicion logo poped up, when holding reset with USB pendrive only black screen, it didn't went into boot mode/recovery mode/bootmenu tho.

Then I've started looking in internet about how to repair it and I came along different posts about repairing it in hitool with rs232, and I've tried it - unsuccessfully.
I tried to erase all in partition menu, then burn only fastboot (didnt worked), then burning all partitions so fastboot, baseparams, rootfs.ubi etc etc and it also didnt worked. (process of burning was successfull, it just didn't worked at the end when turning tuner, trying to get into boot menu etc)
To be specific and clear, my Zgemma specs:
256 MB NAND flash memory, its very important, its NAND, not eMMC.
    1GB ddr3 ram,
    chipset: Hi3798MV200.

This is one of pendrives and what programmator I've used to connect on rx, tx and gnd on zgemma motherboard.

This is how my HiTool looked like.
Right now it is in state where nothing really works, if i turn it on its just black screen, whatever i press reset or not. Only white logo shows in front of tuner.

If someone who have any clue what I could do more to repair it, please feel free to write it down. Thanks
