No, you're not the only one. That happened to me too. Since this is about streams, such things can happen. After selecting a random channel, the channel probably cannot be opened and therefore blocks the remote and the receiver with it.
so i'm not the only one: I repeat : I'm on menu(Vevoo) where are listed services(channels) ,I zap for a channel and this is not showing ,Ok at this point i can scroll the list up and down or key yellow (search) but if I want to go back to menu or quit using exit key......nothing happens and as cosequence I' m forced to brutally shut down receiver.
however should be pointed that not all services inside the Vavoo are regularly working....and this not depends from plugin....but from servers.

So, it doesn't open a single channel for you. Also new installed image OAtv 7.6 Beta, dm800se. A few screenshots and my Settings.Given the number of channels, it may not open a good part of them what is possible. Set Scheduled Bouquet Update to Enable.

doesn't do none image either,,OpenAtv 7.6 ,Pure 7.4 and OpenPli ....I tried everything but won't....I tried to uninstall on Open ATV 7.6 and the last version is not seen more in plugins as well as vavoo-maker

extensions for installing again. When I downloaded vavoo plugin it was version 1.33 in extensions. Did you tried
to install vavoo and vavoo-maker with telnet command. I don't use vavoo-maker plugin , only vavoo.

At OpenATV if i Insert Image from feed 1.33 and after that i do updates on 1.37 plugin deletes and disappears...Zgemma H7S

and via telnet when it is upgraded it disappears or is deleted
With telnet command will be 'overwritted' and installed latest version . In my installed extensions is still version 1.33 , but version
is now updated to latest.

I did a reinstal image....After installing the plugin everything was working extra to some after 10 min....Now lets me just a couple of channels...

unfortunately I am not responsible for the administrator of the streams.
If the stream is not there at that moment or is interrupted. It is possible that from one moment to the next everything disappears, it is normal with these illegal streams unfortunately. 
If other users say it works you have to trust, something in your box needs to be configured.
if you install from telnet you will always have the latest version on board. 
But it seems that everything is fine, I have not touched the code for months, apart from the auto refresh that does not even notice the apikey change, so it does not stop anymore and you do not have to go back and forth with the channels button. 
I hope it works for you. 
And what it was doing now, I didn't do anything .... I solved and the router, reinstalled Image ... something was doing, nothing ....
