The only differance between DVB800 HD PVR and the DreamBox 800HD PVR is the outer shell.
All Dreambox software and images will work in the exact same way.

Just to be clear it's any image/firmware for the DM800 but providing it is a SIM2 compatible version, most of the latest images will also be made for #84b second stage bootloader so just make sure your NewDVB 800HD is also updated to this as well, it's very easy to flash the latest #84b bootloader the same as firmware though a bootloader only takes seconds to flash, there are masses and masses of images/firmware available so you won't be spoilt for choice!

Hi the top of the list image in this forum didn't work with my DVB800 HD PVR. Its is also 102,371KB whereas the image I have currently is 55,001KB
When I try to image my box i get a firmware error message

You need to ensure that the image is the correct one for the SIM thats in the box. You need to look at the section in the forum with the DM800HD clone images in.

i have a dreambox 800 hd which is showing a ca error on powering up
iam new to trying to solve these type of problems so may be a little slow understanding the information lol
