hi, hold down the Red button on the remote control to power on, then power on the button behind the box and let go of the Red button on the remote control when you see the boot menu on the screen from there you can install or enable another Slot if you are on other software or update the software that you have in the first partition and you will have to start again from the beginning of the installation (new).

Have you tried with the reset hole which is behind the device normally on the left near the power connection...

You take a toothpick, you turn off the device with the button on the back and you turn it on and when boot is displayed, you press in the hole with your toothpick and it should display update.....but if you no longer have power, it's dead.....there is still the Jtag I think.....or try with another power supply....

Hi, if you plugged it in and turned it on...and the LAN LEDs don't light up and the red one behind where the optical audio cable goes, the decoder is dead and should be thrown away...or a power surge or lightning strike could have destroyed it.
