openpli star Wireless plugin

    I am still trying to connect my usb wifi to 7020hd


    I uninstalled the Wireless lan plugin which comes with the image with the intention to re install it. However, I cannot find it on the list of system plugins to download.


    I tried opkg update and opkg list | grep wireless but have no clue what to install...

    Oh... so it was a bad idea to uninstall the wireless plugin....


    Will do that someday...


    I found my pid:vid of dongle and found corresponding drivers but could not manage to connect it to box...that is why I tried the above...

    You have to be careful with the drivers, as some works, and some not, it's tricky to find (always use the ones from the image feeds that are compiled for the kernel/image you use), but then once it's ok, it will just work fine... the PID:VID is important to select the right driver, and also generally there is also the need to install the firmware file... for that dongle/driver.
