Probably you use multiboot or you load some incompatible plugins, or settings... as here I have no issue and I use it on 4 x DM900UHD boxes.

You can put the 4097 (Gstreamer) or 5002 (Exteplayer3), to select with the channellist line, which player you want to use,

You can set exteplayer3 as default on the ServiceApp menu,

The IPTV recording is linked to the player you use, if it has the capacity of recording or not.
