Hello everyone, i have a question , is it possible to catch Thor 0.8w and Hellas sat 39e on the same antena ? I have 1.10m antena , and I live on Portugal , can the focus be Thor? Thanks.
Best regards!

I don't think it can be done with a regular dish, Thor and Hellas Sat are too apart.
Your answer is a T90 toroidal antenna which is about the same size.
But i see it catches a little but of the antena , if i have a multifeed suport long enough for Thor and Hellas sat, now i can't buy a antenna like that , i have two antenas , one small 65cm dish on hispassat 30w and the big one 1.10m on thor
Then if you can obtain such long multifeed support, it could be worth a try with Astra 19.2 centered.
But with astra i Will be able to catch Hellas sat and Thor?

The simplest solution would be to motorise one of the dishes, probably best to do so with the biggest one for maximum coverage.
I currently have 3 motorised dishes, a 65cm, an 80cm and a 1.2m. For the most part the 65cm works fine with 39e, 0.8w and 30w in SE England.
Tying to get one dish to cover 40 degrees would be near impossible, even if as suggested you focused on 19 east, it is still 20 degrees out of focus and will not work.
But how?
I don't know how to use a motor
Why Will it not work?? 1.10m is a big antenna , should cover this two sats

Think about it this way.
The satellite your aiming at is thousands of miles away in space. If your a few degrees out your going to miss it by thousands of kilometres.
Or in simple terms your playing football, trying to score from the halfway line, you aim 20 degrees out, your missing the goal by a long long long way.
By all means try, you would obviously need to calculate the correct focal point of the dish /LNB's..... and you might get lucky.....the sats you mention do have strong signal.
but IMO you should be prepared to be disappointed.
Then i Will need your help to calculator the focal point and etc

here is a good site that has instructions for most things:
Determining the focal length of a parabolic dish
You will also need something similar to this:

Hello again , i have a question , i have the same 110cm dish pointed on Thor and i wonder if i cant get both Thor 0.8w and astra 19.2e on the same antena? Any help please?

You can also install Astra 19.2e together with Thor 0.8w without any problems with a 110cm antenna.
How? Can you guide me?

My friend, you have many videos on YouTube on how to install Thor with Astra 19
I just see videos with the multifeed astra and Thor ready but nobody explains how

It's best to bring a satellite dish installer if you're not sure how to set it up, because you need a satellite finder. First, you should find Astra 19, and then tune Thor 0.8, because I don't know what kind of mount you have on your antenna, what kind of dish antenna it is, what angle the mount is at, and what part of Europe you live in.
I have a satellite finder (GT media v8 finder 2) i live in Portugal , and i know how to point a dish , i Will upload a photo with my setup. The 110cm antena is pointed on Thor , and the right lnb Will be for astra 19

I see that you have a slightly older antenna. I see that you made a holder for that second head, but it is not quite right for you. It is best if you can buy a holder somewhere that can connect several lnb heads that suits you for that antenna. It is best for you to install the Astra 19 percent first, it has the best signals, and after that, when you look at your satellite dish from the balcony on the left side, you should install other lnb heads. So if you have found Astra 19 right next to it on the left side, you can put an lnb for Eutelsat 16, then Hotbird 13 goes, but you have to have thinner Lnb heads because the distance is only three degrees, if you want those satellites. After that, you can put Thor 0.8, also on the left side, but the problem is that you don't have very good access on the left side to test the position on Thor 0.8. because the satellite dish bothers you since it's a balcony and you don't have very good access to that left side.
This setup would be good for you; it's a Channel Master 120cm antenna with a 24-inch motor.

Or, this 2.30cm prime focus antenna in Ku band or C band, the choice is yours, with a 36-inch motor.
