Hey, I installed Openvix and the picons aren't downloading either. In OATV 7.6, the picon directory is created: usr/share/enigma2/picon/m3uiptv/__/. Openvix doesn't have such a path.

Normally in openvix picons are downloaded in /picon

So they are specific for my providers.

Only if you use 4097 (gstreamer) as playback system.

All images search for the picon folder in /usr/share/enigma2/ . They also search for the picon folder on the root of any mounted storage device, including the internal flash memory.
However, IPTV has lots of channels. Saving picons in the internal flash has two risk/disadvantages
1. You can quickly fill up the internal flash memory for storage (I'm not talking about RAM). This will result in a non-booting receiver.
The same risk applies to storing EPG on internal flash..
2. When you flash an image, the internal memory is wiped. Using an alternate location to internal memory avoids this.
It is therefore better to use a non-mechanical storage device that is not on internal memory. As mentioned above symlinks will not work on a fat32 filesystem, so needs to be be formatted in ext4.

Gentlemen, I have a question with OATV 7.6. After the last plugin update, I'm experiencing this issue. After exporting channels to a list on the decoder, my decoder loses its connection to the network. The exported list doesn't work with OSCAM, and only a reset of the decoder fixes everything. This didn't happen before the plugin update. -
That can not be connected with the plugin.
OSCAM have no connection at all to IPTV.
Its something else.

One of my iptv providers changes tokens frequently.
When I created a bouquet, I created a list of my favorite channels.
I can restore my favorite channels with the new token, or do I have to make a new bouquet of favorites every time I make a bouquet?

Give example exactly what you mean by "Change tokens".
Maybe post some links (with sanitized sensitive info ofcource).
There is some options but have to know how tokens are changed.

example : The IPTV provider gives a test for a week. I created a bouquet, from the bouquet I created a list of favorite channels.
The trial period is over, I purchased a new trial for a month - the playlist has changed.
M3UIPTV does not update changes in favorites, but epg continues to work.
If I create favorites in the bouquet created by M3UIPTV - M3UIPTV when creating a new bouquet, it deletes my changes.

Well if the url for downloading the playlist changes nothing can be done.
If only the content of the playlist change but url for downloading is the same then there is solution.
Can you post some examples from the playlist and point what changes exactly?

The URL remains unchanged for downloads.
The M3UIPTV plugin does not update the channels in the favorite bouquet. The plugin only creates a new bouquet.
Please take a look. EPG works, but M3UIPTV plugin doesn't load :(
