OSCAM no longer working after OpenVIX 6.6

i just install vix 6.6 on another slot few days back i just use one from feed

etc/tubox/config/ (what ever oscam you installed folder)

in installed enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-latest
so my folder is etc/tubox/config/oscam-latest
have you gone into softcam manager on vix and selected correct version.

I don't know mines is working I only add oscam.server and oscam.config provider from my provider.

was this working before with older version of vix if so do you not have settings backup

That is not true ones from feeds go into subfolders you can have different ones installed.

on openvix i always have them known in etc/tuxbox/config when installing from feeds

That is not the case now also that tutorial is from July 16, 2018

OpenViX has a bit of a problem with softcam control.

Uses SoftCam manager (config path /etc/tuxbox/config)

or

SoftCam script (config path /etc/tuxbox/config/name_oscam).

Although the following oscams are available:

The pcscd installation will only appear in

and does not create a configuration directory

OpenVix creates only two configuration directories

If you have the files for oscam-emu ready, download oscam-emu from the menu and select it when starting

Thanks. Patially solved. I had made the mistake of putting the config files in OSCAM folder. I've now put them in the config folder.

Using the old OSCAM-emu from a 2023 back up, OSCAM now works.

But if I stop the 2023 OSCAM and use a new one from the VIX repository - OSCAM-latest or OSCAM-pcscd-latest - nothing works at all.

Also, if I enable OSCAM-pcscd-latest, I find no folder with that name in etc/tubox/config.

I am puzzled as to why I cannnot use the latest versions of OSCAM.

Did you read the posts above vix does not make OSCAM-pcscd-latest but it does make OSCAM-latest folder
