    But it only happens to me that when I go out of the Kodi plugin I hear only the audio of the channels tuned to the list but no video? I have to make a complete reboot to put the thing in place, octagon decoder SF 8008 and last release 7.6 beta

    Unfortunately, I am trying to install v.7.6 on DM800se via telnet command to usb stick without success. The installation starts fine when it needs to install tar file (tar: invalid tar magic). It seems that the installation is not fully completed.Please can you help me and try to solve this problem with installation.Thank you.



    I have installed openatv 7.6 Alpha on a DM800Se receiver using the method mentioned in another thread for version 7.3. The only change I made was in the script to put the address for the new version. I have not encountered any problems, it has been working fine for several weeks.

    Thanks for the script , but I don't understand how to use. This is a script for upgrade to version 7.6 or what.

    My previous 7.3 image it was broken and I tried to install 7.6 with old script who is used to install 7.3 image , but with many issues who I posted above. On which way you installed this script . Thanks.

    I think that an upgrade, at least for these receivers, is very difficult to impossible. What I did was to do a clean install of the new version on the stick. As you will see, if you open the script, the version it "downloads" is 7.6.

    First of all, we start the receiver from the image we have installed on the flash. With ftp we place the script in the /tmp folder. Then from the console via telnet we give permissions and then we execute the script.

    ./openatv.sh

    Once it starts, we insert the stick and wait for the installation to be completed.

    If it continues to give an error, we try with another stick, maybe it is broken.

    I know you said F4 but is that the menu I posted you are trying to access as I said if so blue button is normal one.


    or it may help if you mention what device you are using , I have two gigablue and a zgemma stb and none have F4 button.

    I think there are no relationship in setup procedures between the geographical location and the language of the system,


    You assumed because you set turkey you should get Turkish language as primary language?


    I belive this is a good idea to add primary language to the screen of set location or at least ask the user to set his primary language based on location or keep default, but what will be the case if you have multiple languages in same country?

    This has nothing to do with ZAP function. I change the channel normally, and the voice is back, although it should remain silent.
