Octagon 8008 and the latest image versions 7.4 (currently from 04/26/2024). Clean installation and only CAM feed and Skin HD Glass 17 installed. Nothing more and the system runs fine. After updating to 7.5, the Enigma will fall crash in a loop.

No. And no, for two reasons.
1) Many images already have this functionality built-in (in a simpler version)
2) This functionality cannot be “built in” by simply redefining the class... alas
You miss my point, In all images let's say button X used to call the basic zap function, my request is... Once install hzs, I can call it with same X botton instead of assign it by hotkey, my point is save this step, I will not use the simple zap and hzs in same time,
Backup/restoring of plugin data can only work if you have the same channels (favorite) in all 10 images... It is much easier to rewrite /etc/enigma2/historyzap.pkl into the images you need. All data about "channel switching" is stored in this file
In any case, in each of the 10 images you still need to install the plugin =) and at least copy the “bouquet” files, so copy the files with the plugin data at the same time
I was not referring to backup channels I was referring to plugin setup parameters such as languages used, activation key path, show in extension menu.... etc (all settings listed in plugin itself when you press manu botton) but if you want to add channels as well, it your call.

Is it possible to add support in the next version to make hzs as a default to the built-in zap screen?
This will be better than assign a hotkey to call it, I think user who decided to install hzs already not satisfied with the built-in zap screen.
And just in case user decide to uninstall it for any reason, during removal process return the built-in zap screen to its default.
Moreover, I would like to remind you to add backup / restore freature to next version, I know you think this is not necessary but for user who has like 10 image and reinstall the plugin frequently it is better to restore the key path and setting directly from restore file instead of repeat the process each time.

I wonder if it possible to add some options to customize the posterx rander recoded by you before, options like.
1. Add customized user path in case the memory mounting name different from the defaults, for example hdd2 or USB2... etc.
2. Add option to download posters in two different locations with two different auto-remove time intervals.
3. Add options to activate/deactivate posters website or even add more,
4. Add option to change auto-remove timer
5. Add option to activate / deactivate background posters downloads for bouquets 12 hrs in advance ( I suggested this before and you assumed it will consumed box resources) but I don't understand why I have to zap to each channels and wait for posters download even for a few seconds.
I think you can add more features to ozeta setup to add more users inputs.

1. Install clean openatv 7.4 beta
2. Install Devel feed
3. Update then upgrade
4. Install anthing you can use
5. Make backup image

is it possible to update the message displayed after skin selection to include the skin name? The reason is common, many skins are made in a rush and miss the correct screen for skin selection and you have to select another skin to get out blindly....
This leads me to another suggestion,
if the system counts like two reboots, due to skin failure, is it possible to offer a skin selection screen message? to select another working skin instead of the traditional way of deleting the skin manually and rebooting to the default skin after shutting down the system......etc.
You can also get skin failure crash down to user error pressing wrong keys or ther things on any working skin but that does not warrant it to be deleated
So, what is the problem to add option for emergency to replace the working skin for any reason?!
Tell me what do you do when apply wrong skin and get crash loop but please write it step by step to understand my idea

The common reason is missing of some related items due to path change.
Simply make correct path on your 💻

I saw loading counter for no. of pages, it make plugin response relatively slow, is it possible to make it load the next two or even 10 pages only, or change coding to load faster, my internet speed is medium around 65 MB/s and device octagon sf8008...

Sure, for this reason it is good time to share our thoughts, ziko still working on it and he might consider user suggestions, you know better than me, once plugin get completed, the developer mainly stop his support for several reasons and there are too much examples for similar cases.

I am not a professional skinner, developer, or anything related to sat, enigma...etc, but I like to make some customization to my box skin. Recently I used odreamy-FHD and I was not satisfied with its color, especially in the channels list, and it lacked some features I wanted to see.
So I made some personal modifications for my use and I decided to share them with people who might like them.
The modifications include:
1. Changing the channels list background to a darker image, adding more functions such as SNR, AGC, Events, Gen...etc.
2. Replacing odposterX with zPosterX created by Lululla (Thanks)
3. Changing the auto removal time from 3 days to 300 days (if you have enough space you might like this idea).
4. Adjusting some colors.
If you like it or have any suggestions for improvement, please let me know.

The posters are not appearing. While uploading, the missing file was uploaded. Is it possible to provide it as a rar file?
I laterally saw similar comment from your side in another skin, I think you have a problem in your mount system, so render of posters can not detect the available storage on your system, please confirm if you have a folder called poster placed in your hdd or usb or sdcard? If you have one check if there are posters inside, delete all and delete your tmp directory and makes full restart to your box
