it working very good but I face strange thing, when the stop the internet it make the box keep loading like it keep check for the internet to download posters, this is my assumption, maybe I am wrong, but if it right I think it is better to make it check presence of internet on spacific intervals of time.
Moreover I wish if you can add support for more images such as openspa and openvix beside openpli and openatv

It work very well on openatv 7.4 plus 7.5 Devel, very good performance for posters download, but no changes in skin design itself, there are some suggestions sent before on github.com but no response?!
Moreover, I hope to fix it to work with egami and openvix in order to use it
New skin with poster x support just unzip and copy paste in mentioned path

you do not need symbolic link openatv should get his picons from media/hdd/picon , even if i move picon folder from hard drive to usb thumd drive it will get them as long as only 1 folder named picon.
Is this applicable on iptv channels with unmatchable names?
I created the symlink as advised and rebooted I still only see this:
System to identify picon for spacific channel needs name or reference number matching but in your case you don't have both, you needs to install AjPanel and make additional steps.
In AjPanel /settings activate remove iptv channels name prefix because you have it.
Then from service /channels, use copy epg/picon from xml
try other ip value,dns change..same problem :(
Look if everything is set up correctly and you still have same issue, may be you needs to revise the physical connection such as cable quality, jack status..... etc

Unable to install on egami or Openatv or opebvix, i think you have two tmp in install process which cause error
Try to use static ip address in your network settings, try large value such as xxx.xxx.xxx.100,
Also try to change your dns to 8.8.8.8
Sf8008 have 1gbit lan port connected on 1gbit fibre router & localy i have freeze on chanels,after conecting box with wifi on 2.4ghz work perfect
any ide why via lan cable freze?
If the lan and wifi have same ip address, try to change it, look like you have ip address conflict

Is it possible to make it with posterx? If yes, it will be much better to use zposterx attached to ozeta skin, it is more fast and advance in poster download
Currently we have only two plugin support display subtitles over live channels, both have long, mult-steps in order to select, play, adjust and sync the subtitle with the ongoing event, as mentioned before, why openatv is not support display subtitles over live channel from locally stored subtitles files? Is it hard to make such simple idea.
Assign location locally to place subtitles files in it, click sub button to select subtitle from external source (local file), open file browser to pickup the file the display it with option to backwards or forward, play and pause.
This is not complicated as online translation requested before and cost no money.

I have hdd connected to network router through direct USB connection and another hdd connected to router through network wire cable.
I can access both through ftp or samba or curlftpfs using mobile or windows but I never success to access it through openatv!
I tried a lot of edits and commands to
/etc/auto.network
/etc/enigma2/automount.xml
No success at all, even change two routers, flash disk, anything you can imagine, regular way through network browser show my hdd only without any success to connect.
The only way to access it through curlftpfs ftp but It has a lot of limitations for files transfers, playing media, deals with names with Arabic letters and different videos formats,
Now, is it possible to help me with clear step by step guide or direct settings string to insert manually in the above mentioned files?

Is it possible to make detailed tutorial about Samba, cifs, nfs settings,
I have two hdd, one connected directly to network router through USB while the 2nd connected through LAN connect and tried a lot to connect but no success, I feel there is something wrong, but I can not get it.

To see the internal slots, add the line I mention in my post #8 to the fstab file.
Regarding the external slots, I don't know if you created the 18 slots by yourself or from a script.
I don't know the layout of the slots (which partition of the sd-card each slot corresponds to).
