Just a question please. If I install the actual (beta) version of Openatv 7.6, what happens when the image will become "official"? Must I reinstall the image from scratch or I will be able to simply live update? Thanks.

and the autotimer works as it shouldAfter reading your post, I thought they had solved an old problem and I wanted to try it out. On dm920 with FBC tuner set as a twinsat with two sat descents, it is not possible to open a PIP window or record and see another program.

I repeat my previous question: If I install the actual (beta) version of Openatv 7.6, what happens when the image will become "official"? Must I reinstall the image from scratch or I will be able to simply live update?
I ask this because I must reflash my receiver and I do not want make the job twice.
So if the beta image can't be upgraded to official, I prefer to wait the first official 7.6 release. What do you think? Thanks.

Clean installs are always required after python changes.
I suspect that when the release version comes out, you should do a clean install.
Looking at github there are still a lot of changes coming.

As Copper_Can , mentioned yes there can be python changes but with openatv you can flash online i,e, new image and restore settings.
do you not have a multiboot reciever then you can aways flash onto new slot to try but always make backups first.
