Hello captain I upgraded to openatv 7.6 I encountered a problem in openwebif application. There are 3 icons below the channels on webif. There is an epg tv icon and a phone icon. In the previous version when I clicked on the tv icon it would download as an m3u file to the desktop of my computer. However in 7.6 when I click on the tv icon it tries to open in the browser but it does not download to the desktop. I disable the play in browser option in webif application but it does not help. Can you help me?

My friend, honestly, I’ve grown to to hate; this image and all its problems. Even after changing the DNS, the issues never end.

The feed doesn’t work, and it doesn’t have the required packages to install different plugins.

I don’t know what’s going on with it, and the team doesn’t seem to care.

I’ve said it over and over again — this image has become miserable.

The problems with the image and the feed occur only on Dreambox devices, while everything works fine on other devices.

It’s unbelievable that updating the image online requires about 30 attempts before it finally works.

In tuners VU Duo4KSE i Novaler 4kSE there is a problem with the IP Audio Pro application, restart the system.

In system 7.6 beta, this problem did not exist. Can you fix it? Do you need any data from the receiver in the system?

what device vpn i,e, openvpn or wireguard perhaps check vpn log to see if any info or check on vpn plugin section to see if any other proton users with problem.

hi all

for some reasons i can't install these openatv py3 images .

it does install but when the box reboot it just stuck in reboot and then blue screen with log error report and start rebooting again ....

i am on pure2 at the moment. but i do miss the openatv image.

is there any images ending with tar.xz. etc...so i can download is straight into the dreambox firmware.

by the way my box is dreambox dm900

where are you downloading from is this dm900

not correct images for your device

but I do not have a DM device but do you not also need ChkRoot Multiboot

Firmware ending in

tar.gz
tar.bz2

tar.xz

can be used to flash your dm900

Unzip "openatv-7.6.0-dm900-......._mmc.zip"

The extracted folder contains the file "rootfs.tar.bz2" to flash your dm900

If you want to rename rootfs you can rename it to whatever you want, but do not rename ending tar.bz2

thanks for your help.

just to clarify something i have been downloading images to the box for the last 10years

i use the dreambox interface or flash online from the image its self.

as i said when i dowload the image it does say the image is downloded succesfuly but when the box reboot it does get stuck on rebooting mode suddenly a blue screen pops up with error logs and then it reboot again.....

never seen or heard such fault and that's only hapen with OPENATV 7.6 the previous ones py2 are fine any other image is fine now i am using pure2 at the moment.

Maybe something is corrupt on your dm900. First install last original firmware

update your dm900 rescue/bootloader zImage-rescue-3.14-r0-dm900-20201201.bin

You'll certainly have a kernel installed in Flesh that's different from the one the software you're installing requires.

Firmware ending in

tar.gz

tar.bz2

tar.xz

Complete is fine.

Now you've only sent the software, not its kernel. To change it, you only need a software that's ko. The DE is complete.

So, you should first install the DE via the web. Then do a mini-tuning, stop on a free-to-air channel, put the decoder back in service mode, and send whatever you want.

This DE software is the only one that has the kernel already installed.
