I successfully booted the "define 7.0" image on my Octagon SF8008,
whose serial number (SN) had been lost,
after replacing the "bianbiang" file in the path: usr/bin.
Method:
After installing the new Define update,
Connect to the Octagon SF8008 via Telnet with DCC or WinSCP.
IP address of your receiver: 192.168.0.163
User: root
Password: root
Replace the bianbiang file, with the attached file.
and enable the chmod_0755 permission.

After trying this new version 1.06.58 , the main problem in previous version 55 - which is failure of multiboot - is fixed

The latest online version is 1.06.57 and no multiboot failure as well.

Hello,
since a few days I have a brandnew Octagon SF8008 Supreme.
Played around with a lot of different OS's and skins and like the Define OS the best. Only problem: it seems to not support bluetooth or at least I couldn't find any extension or configuration settings.
Is there a chance to get it working?
Need it to connect my keyboard ...Regards

It is the update extension from within the define os , from settings select update firmware and then select USB update ، select the file and wait for reboot.

Hello, anyone familiar with define os would like to know how to add a web portal such as the web portal via www agent in the browser? Is this possible?
There's a guide on how to set 075 permissions on Octagon.
I need to use FTP and access the decoder with define os.
