When the STB is not connected to the internet, channel switching, channel list, and the menu become incredibly slow and freeze. The waiting icon spins in the upper left corner. I don't use the icon and poster display feature in the infobar and channel list. I prefer a simple and clean look.

How can I solve this freezing problem without connecting to the internet?

Debug log can help you to know the cause of freeze , even posterx will not cause this freeze as I removed internet check in its files , and for me on Octagon sf8008 , novaler 4k pro and novaler 4k se NO PROBLEM

The plugin already appears partially migrated to Python 3, but there are still several legacy threading and synchronous patterns that may no longer be safe on Python 3.12+.

- synchronous network requests

- race conditions in subtitle handlers

- Twisted + requests mixed usage

- subtitle parser callbacks

Any help modernizing or patching the plugin for current OpenATV/OpenPLI environments would be greatly appreciated.

my mod v4.2.2.0 for testing:

1 - new feature , you can edit included xml in code panel .

2- new feature , you can hold Ctrl key and select multiple items and move it as one unit preserving the position to each other . after moving , press on any other item to stop Ctrl effect , note that no REDO available for such move .
