    I agree with you on the need for additional specialization and not installing any unnecessary or unused plugins to avoid burdening the device. However, in response to the example you mentioned regarding ajpanel, the situation is completely different. The plugin is very lightweight on devices and is suitable for all images and all devices. It provides many functions and services smoothly and easily. The success of this is evident from the effort put into writing the plugin's code and organizing the code in a successful specialized manner. Here, the developer's thought process crystallizes in the direction they follow.


    However, I certainly will not deny that it requires a user who follows the tutorials and is aware of the functions provided by the plugin to make the most of it.

    This has made a huge difference when I exit live tv & back to the EPG in the blink of an eye,

    Bit off topic but it may be relevant…does the orphaned epgache code in liveplayer exist in xstreamity & Xklass?

    I only ask this because exiting Live Tv in those plugins seemed to have the same issue for myself.

    Added some more hash tokens in that I found in another plugin. Should possible help validate some panels.
    Added more get_profile calls before other calls.
    Added in more reauthorize logic if required.
    Added in the status and portal type to the playlist screen.
    Now pick up XUI One panels as a version type.
    Changed Live Streams to Live TV
    Changed Vod to Movies
    HD and UHD skin corrections.
    Better logic for reading and re-ordering the playlists.txt file.

    I have now decided if type is /c/ and not /stalker_portal/c/ if no expiry and status 1 then I am pretty sure that line is dead - prove me wrong.
    For the time being I have kept /stalker_portal/c/ lines yellow if status 0 or 1.

    that is xtreme codes details you cannot use with this plugin , but you can use xtreamity , xklass or bouquetsmakerxtream

    type must be m3u or m3u_plus
    output must be ts or m3u8 (do not use hls - it is not a thing on enigma2)

    Looking at those details with the hashed username and password. Its a hacked line anyway. So you cant even ask your provider.
    You can't convert an xtream line to stalker without knowing the mac address.
    But sometimes you convert a stalker line temporarily to an xtream login.

    Anyway guys, you are meant to be giving me feedback not just downloading it.

    Are portals that you think should work, working in my plugin.


    Are there portals that work in this, but not others :smirking face:

    Is everything performing as expected.

    Any crashes, other than those previously mentioned.

    I did have one line I tested that every single picon png was corrupt. That caused some issues as it got confused with the downloads.

    Are the skin files now correct for HD and UHD. (I amended the playlists screen)

    Is python 2.7 images like VTI behaving itself. Same for dreamOS

    At the end of the day, stalker portals aren't great. So I expect a lot of crap out there. Some of the ones I was testing were that old they had channel lists in there from over 5 years ago. No wonder half of the links were broke.

    My box is an Octagon sf 8008 4k and the images I use are:


    Egami 10.6 r13 Py 3.12

    OpenAtv 7.5.1 Py 3.12

    OpenAtv 7.6 Py 3.13

    OpenPli 15.3 Py 3.13

    Pure2 7.4 Py 3.12

    OpenSpa 8.4 Py 3.12


    The MACs I use in MultistalkerPro also work very well in Estalker

    A few things I have noticed.

    One portal I was testing, fails the account info download due to incorrect device. Which probably means it will fail later downloads. So that must have custom logic.
    I have an offline python tester script that I have been using with the same logic as my plugin, but cant seem to get that one to work. No other stalker players I tried could play that one though.

    Another one I tested had a huge live list, the time out didn't allow for it to be fully downloaded, therefore live ended up blank. So I just need to tweak my timeouts.

    Speeding up live streams scrolling, coz its bloody awfully slow, because I do an epg refresh every selection change. Bleugh. :face vomiting: Now put in 1/4 second display update delay to make it fast again. - Fixed

    Trying to get the "ALL" - category to populate. - Fixed, I was looking for category "0" when its actually "*"

    Better timeouts for longer downloads. - Fixed (maybe)
