EPG Language for DreamOS

EPG Language Plugin for DreamOS

This is a simple plugin that lets you:

• Select your preferred language for the electronic program guide (EPG).
• Delete and reset (rebuild) the EPG database when needed.
• Check which EPG languages are available and supported by the current service.
• View information about the EPG.db file.

🗑 Uninstalling the Plugin:

If you are not satisfied with my plugin, you can easily remove it using the following command:

apt-get purge --auto-remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-epglanguage

I’m currently developing a new feature to translate Electronic Program Guide (EPG) events, which will be integrated into the EPG Language plugin.

Additionally, I’m working on a separate plugin for translating DVB subtitles.

As soon as I have enough time, I’ll complete the development of both plugins and share them.

The current plugin only allows you to set the default language for the EPG.

In future updates, you will be able to automatically translate the EPG based on the selected default language.
