  • Use a splitter, take feed from lnb to splitter and then output to 2 3 or 4 receivers. The only issues is that you will only really be able to watch one box at a time or channels on the same transponder. You cannot watch h and v transponders at the same time. Best to have a splitter with dc bypass.

  • To put it simply you need a UNICABLE lnb and the number of receivers you can connect is denoted by the word SCR . So if you look on world of satellite you will see UNICABLE II with 24scr = 24 receivers and in your case look for a splitter for use with unicable for 2 receivers. When you set up the lnb you toggle to the type of lnb ie universal or unicable then allocate 1 scr band to one receiver and another band to other reciever. Both recivers will work as if they have there own cable, no confict. lnb not cheap but good.

You should tell us what make of receivers and image you have in case they are too old. eg i have a vu+ uno4kse with Openvix 6.7

    Hello

Is it better if the splitter has one to two or three outputs and only one output port has a Powerpass or should all ports be Powerpass ?

If both receivers are on at the same time, for example, the first receiver is on the vertical pole and the second receiver is on the horizontal pole or vice versa, will there be a problem with the tuner and other parts of the receivers?

I've never really tried it on purpose to run more that one receiver at a time. If two receivers are on at the same time the lnb will not work correctly and lots of channels be unavailable. If you are trying to run lots of receivers then you have to rethink you plans or change the lnb to a different one other than universal.

  • with splitter you will be buying lots of boxes due to broken tuners :) .

Only if they chose not to listen to warnings about using more that one receiver at a time.

I do this at the moment with my motorised dish, Either of my two boxes under the tv can drive the dish as the splitter has dc bypass on each port. I do only ever run one box at a time and it works well for me.

Can splitters with (Powerpass) output prevent the risk of burning out the tuner when both receivers are in use and turned on?

  • I would not even try it.... You cannot have more than one receiver working at any given point trying to use both V & H transponders. Channels will just become grayed out and unavailable. I am unsure what damage you will cause to the lnb or satellite box tuners.

If you are wanting to run mutiple boxes at the same time you need to alter your set up. Different lnb or more cables.

  • might as well just use Remote channel stream converter plugin

That will do the same thing. Copy the bouquets from one box to another.

Put you can only view the channels on one device at a time
