Spark is an operating system constantly moving forward, adding improvements to the tuner and making this operating system is perfectly adapted to all home users, from novice to advanced.
Allows an easy, manage our channel lists, access to our multimedia content, browse the Internet (youtube, picasa, RSS, website, etc)
The firmware is built so that the user can implement a variety of accessories in a simple, Plung & Play (Plug and Play), such as keyboard, mouse, multimedia discs, USB Wifi, 3G USB Modem, HUB, etc.
Is this firmware Free?
Spark is based on open source but the firmware is compiled by ST Microelectronic engineers to take full advantage of the 450Mhz which owns Golden Spark Media 990 HD & Reload.
As a development for the whole family, do not let third parties to enter the compiled firmware, and they manage it automatically updates, bug fixes and downloads lists or databases Plugins channels from your private server.
