VU+ Duo 4k SE Bootloader

Hello everyone,

I have a Vu+ Duo 4K SE receiver that is currently bricked.

I read some old tutorials so I am trying to recover it using Broadcom Broadband Studio 3.0 with a Cypress FX2LP USB board.

To proceed, I urgently need the correct:

XML file for the BCM7445(S) chipset (for BBS to detect the NAND flash),
and the bootloader file (CFE.bin) for the Duo 4K SE.

If anyone has these files (XML + CFE) or the full DeviceFiles package, I would be very grateful if you could share them.

Also, if you have experience or a guide for recovering the Duo 4K SE with BBS, that would be extremely helpful.

I don't think there is a bootloader for the vuduo4kse

There should be, but I guess it wasnt published. My other option is to buy a healthy receiver and dump the loader from it.

How exactly do you mean bricked ? How did it get bricked ??

Is anything displayed on your TV from the HDMI ? - if so it is NOT bricked.

Are the USB ports powered ?

Dose the ethernet port light up ?

Be careful to only flash the correct bootloader .bin

Saraceno84 He added a bootloader for the old Duo on page 5. Don't try that; it has nothing to do with Duo4K and SE

You may need to buy a new motherboard, as the duo4K SE doesn't have a bootloader. My brother had the same device, and it broke. They installed a new motherboard and sent the device to HM-Sat.
