There have been many code changes to improve performance and compatibility with all systems, such as:

• Dreambox
• Vu+
• Images such as Gemini, Merlin, OpenATV, OpenPLi, and VTI

Most importantly, the plugin name and its folder have now been changed to the new name in order to avoid conflicts with previous versions:

Important note: it is recommended to remove any previous version before installation.

What did you change/correct to install your version instead of the original?

Hi,

Greetings, my dear friend,

I am not trying to push you to change the old version or to use new Moded version, nor am I asking you to use my own release.

I personally used the original version for years, but it was no longer receiving development or updates. So I released several versions with the aim of improving the plugin and increasing its compatibility with newer image releases, while keeping the core structure unchanged.

And in my opinion, this is one of the advantages of Enigma2: development, experimentation, and continuous improvement until each user reaches the version that suits them best and feels most comfortable with.

I do not earn any money in return for the time and effort I put into these modifications, so I believe that everyone is completely free to use whichever version they prefer and feel comfortable with
