How to find C8 without NVIDIA Card

  • Rather than uploading TS files, is there a program I can use to extract the C8 from recorded TS files on my laptop, then post the C8 here? I've seen links to several programs in other threads here, but they seem to require an NVIDIA graphics card (which I don't have).

Yes there are, as you said most are using nvidia card but i have a python program to do the same with no need for nvidia card. I can provide that to you

  • here's a quick program to find c8. It needs python installed.

    Code
    python3 findC8.py

    findC8.py

I have Python installed, and the program you attached in the root directory, but when I try to run it I receive the following errors:

  • You did it right but…i see O and E c8….looks like it’s Biss-ca feed. Please check if caid is 2610.

We can only find key for 2600 which is standard biss

  • I tested it with a 5 GB file. CSA version 1 has a 4096 MB limit. And version 2, although it seemed to have no limit, didn't do anything.

However, this version of Python worked fine. Thank you.

there's no limit...i tested with 16GB file and no problems

btw I used scripts provided here by other users and did some modifications...so credits are not all for me :)

  • I created exe file for the C8 finder.

satman2019 please try it and let me know if works

It gives an error when reading the file.

For it to work correctly (when converting it), the console needs to be visible in the background, and you can also see the file's progress there.

I haven't tested if it works properly with all the options unchecked. But with all the options checked, it's 13MB and works fine.

  • can you send me that TS file?

please try this with console enabled

  • I already deleted the TS file (it was 500 MB). I don't usually save them, but I did check it with CSA v1. I burned it with EBS Pro.

  • PS- each of the previous two copy/paste C8 codes were retrieved from 5-minute TS recordings obtained from Edision OS Mini 4K.

Does the decoder tell you if it's a Biss-2 or not? Whether by caid (numbers, letters) or directly by name.

Does that decoder allow you to record the entire TS? Full TS is the best option.
