I'm trying to use a FRANSAT NEOTION CAM CI+ 1.3 on my VU+ DUO 4K SE with OpenPli 9. I've installed enigma2-plugin-extensions-ci_plus_helper-openpli8.x_4_all.ipk. The module is detected and authenticated and I could get one channel decrypted and then, once I switched to another channel, I only got black screen and various error messages (revoked xxx, not certfifed CI+ receiver...etc). Is this version of ci_plus_helper really usable on OpenPli 9? ChatGPT tells me that I should rather use another image (VTI or OpenATV) but I've been using OpenPli for years and I like it. You need to follow these steps:

After you enter the Cam section of your Provaider, you should also see the ID or Caid you need to assign with the Blue button and then save with the Green button.

This is just an example on Cam Tvsat 4k.

Same status on openatv, I mean, one channel ok and on first change error.

I believe the cam cannot be used on enigma2 receivers.

you're wrong Atv needs more search in ciplus feeds.

Hello, I confirm problem on FRANSAT with the updated NEOTION 1.3 module.

Before the latest update (January 21st) of the module, all channels worked perfectly.

Did you manage to get the Fransat Neotion CI+ 1.3 CAM working in the end in your VuDuo4K SE ? I have openATV 7.6 with <enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-ciplushelper - 5.8-r2> and would like to know if I can at least use it ?
The CAM works fine off my LG TV but it is not convenient as I often remotely watch off my Vuduo4KSE.

I've been unable to get my Fransat Neotion CI+ 1.3 CAM working. In the end it doesn’t really matter, since I’m watching the French channels in clear through the PLS Gold streams. Still, the level of receiver hardening that blocks even official CAMs is absurd. It only pushes users toward IPTV instead of satellite. What a waste!

After the latest FRANSAT security update, the CI+ module is no longer compatible with a satellite receiver.

It only works with CI+ compatible TVs.

Thanks. Also now using Multi stream and working just like before. Makes you wonder why bother with the PC7 card or even CAM. I might sell those now.

Be happy France 3 and all the regional versions are still visible with Oscam and a PC7 card.
