  • Hi All,

    My mate sent me 2 C lines which he told me I could reshare on my Oscam server. I need to clarify the following.

    1. Do I need to setup a vertual port in oscam config for every caid that I wish to reshare.

    2. Do I need to assign a different group number for every caid in oscam server.

    Here is a sample of what I have done for one line at the moment in oscam server.

    [reader]

    label = goldielab1

    protocol = cccam

    device = ..........

    user =.........

    password =.........

    inactivitytimeout = 30

    group = 1

    disablecrccws = 1

    cccversion = 2.3.2

    ccckeepalive = 1

    audisabled = 1

    connectoninit = 1

  • The user needs to have the same group as the reader you want to share (assuming default reader settings) and the protocol (eg: cccam) needs to have reshare enabled.

    Code
    [cccam]
    port                          = 27551
    nodeid                        = *********
    version                       = 2.3.2
    reshare_mode                  = 1
    forward_origin_card           = 1

    The port must be forwarded on your router to reach clients outside your local network.

    Code
    [account]
    user                          = user
    pwd                           = pass
    group                         = 2

    This method will not bypass any reshare restrictions set by peers, so its safe to do it for all peers.

  • Thanks Chris,

    To clarify I am sharing using Oscam.

    I gathered that because of the config you posted and the section you asked in.

    The CAID's are handled automatically if you are using the cccam protocol.

    All CAID's via a single port.

    Control which readers a user can access using groups (you can assign multiple groups).

  • Hi Chris,

    Thanks for your help so far.

    Some success. The clines that I placed on my oscam server I can view on my stb's at home with oscam or mgcam. However my friend (remote location) cannot clear these channels from my server. He can clear channels from my local card so I know he is connected to me OK. Do I need the virtual ports setup in my oscam.conf like the example below.

    24008@098D:000000;24046@090D:000000;24033@098E:000000

  • Hi Chris,

    maybe I required the virtual ports in the past when I was running a card locally ????.

    You highlighed cccam below in a previous post . I have this in the oscam.conf. Is this correct.

    Code

    Code
    [cccam]
    port                          = 27551
    nodeid                        = *********
    version                       = 2.3.2
    reshare_mode                  = 1
    forward_origin_card           = 1
  • Hi Chris,

    Seasons greetings to you.

    I did not see what was really happening with my friends stb not clearing channels so I changed the setup at my place and tried to mimic what is happening at his side. To clarify things, here is my current setup. He uses amiko mini combos as his stb's.

    1. C line running on my Oscam PC server as a proxie reader. Pictures clearing on my E2 stb using oscam or mgcamd.

    2. I setup amiko mini combo locally (non linux box) which shows as connected to my server but channels do not clear. I tried both Oscam and Mgcamd.

    The oscam log on my server says that the amiko box is connected but ''no valid caid found in user''. I have tried different setup's with the user files like adding a caid but to be honest at my age a lot og this is a ''trial and error'' approach.

    Am I missing something silly here.
