Yes, I was going to ask, can't you just watch the PowerVu?
I'm jealous how much PV you guys have.
I think I could get some PV from the “Atlantic” sats… But I'd need a huge C band dish.

I found them and asked for you.
QuoteYou need to extract the boxkey from a legacy unit that the card is tied to.
There is a boxkey which is used to handle the encryption between the box and card. If the boxkey can't be extracted they can remove the bga flash chip and dump with a chip reader and use the SK (secondary key)
QuoteIt only works with Nagra 3 cards as well.
There's almost no public info about this stuff for bell anymore.
QuoteI think they were 3100's but I believe bell has since stopped supporting those stbs
I was speaking to a Canadian, on a Discord server that doesn't exist any more, and I'm pretty sure he said he had a bell card working in OSCam.
He also explained the sat scene is pretty dead over there... Just little interest, unfortunately.
I think I understand it.
I am connected to 1 real card and 7 reshares.
Can anyone confirm?
I'm trying to understand some things.
I have set up a CCCam server in NCam:
[cccam]
port = ****
nodeid = ***********
reshare = 5
reshare_mode = 1
forward_origin_card = 1
stealth = 1
[account]
user = chris
pwd = supersecretpassword
monlevel = 1
group = 2
max_connections = 4
cccmaxhops = 10
cccignorereshare = 1
cccstealth = 1
When I connect to this in OSCam I see this:
Why am I only connected to 1 of 8 cards, and how do I know which card/s I'm connected to?
From what I understand, the PowerVu encrypted package on 4.8E (not the betting one) uses emm mode 4?
Do the changes to NCAM make it possible to clear those channels now?
I did not updated source to support Sky UK ... The support only with my compile binaries files. Because I have added patch to toolchains files only !!
Your build (on post 1) doesn't work for UK icam.
I just built it from your public git, and changed the 1 line that needs changing and that build works.
Is that using stream relay, or does it work “properly”?
I build like this, which works for Sky UK with TVH.
echo "**** compile ncam ****" && \
if [ -z ${NCAM_COMMIT+x} ]; then \
NCAM_COMMIT=$(curl -sX GET https://api.github.com/repos/fairbird/NCam/commits/master \
| jq -r '. | .sha'); \
fi && \
mkdir -p \
/tmp/ncam && \
git clone https://github.com/fairbird/NCam.git /tmp/ncam && \
cd /tmp/ncam && \
git checkout ${NCAM_COMMIT} && \
./config.sh \
--enable all \
--disable \

Display MoreDisplay MoreI think the issue many people have is that Enigma2 isn't updated to support iCAM.
There is a special OSCAM version which does work on E2 with stream relay.
If E2 was updated, there would be no need for special “patched” versions.
From what I have been told, it is very difficult because most of the E2 boxes use closed source drivers and firmware.
My Docker image is nothing special.
It's just fairbirds NCAM compiled for Docker.
Things are currently changing....
Oscam has taken about a lot of change recently and there's is now support for icam via stream relay
As a result its moved out of the emu patch.... So while it is not ideal still for e2 users ....
It is now possible to build plain versions of oscam or oscam emu without stream relay if you have your icam patch elsewhere (like you guys have with your docker image.)
See the oscam and ncam change logs for details
Also " simple build" for compiling your own oscam is now working really well.
Anyways I don't want to go to far off topic on the ncam thread.
I will test ncam and 28.2 when home tonight.
It's about time.
These closed-source-special builds need to die!
I don't see any reason not to use NCAM if you can.
It's OSCAM with extra emu features, which will never make their way into OSCAM because they don't want to support emu.
It does everything OSCAM + emu does and more.
Fairbird has done a fantastic job.
EDIT: TVH was updated to support iCAM, so patching is no longer required.
It automatically detects iCAM support in libdvbcsa and enables iCAM support if present.
Will EMM mode 4 help open the "Anuvu" PowerVu package on 4.8E?

Is there no way of telling E2 to map all FTA channels on a particular sat as and when they change?
Edit: I mean all locally. No channel lists/bouquets/plugins/etc.
Where did you get the card?
I was told you need an unpaired card for SD sports and movies. No idea how true that is.
Does SkySp Mix work for you? It works for me with the basic package.
I see lots of "found" there?
As I understand it, you need a card that has never been paired to clear movies and sports.
Or someone who knows how to get the keys.
Someone somewhere must know, since the Chinese boxes can clear HD... but nothing public for us.
i have all sport channel sd and movies from uk 0963, and i see viaplay 1 open from 0960 card
Is that on a pay server?
I'll give you some free info, I will no longer upload an NCam on my decoders or those of my friends and acquaintances, I downloaded NCam+configurations from a well-known site which inside the configurations... there is a virus... which will opens a file (IMG001.exe) both in the decoder and PC, and I said that an .exe file is not possible in Linux, good thing it didn't cause any damage on an old PC, on the decoder I deleted it with DreamExplorer and if I restarted without internet connection did not return but as you connected the LAN this file reappeared, now I have deleted everything that is part of the NCam... I am sure that a file from that Cam connects to a server (hidden in the files).
Stop downloading stuff people post on forums, then.
Compile yourself: https://github.com/fairbird/NCam
I googled powercam. As far as I can see, it only opens the same packages that other regular servers can. No Sky UK/IT, Cosmote, etc.
Powercam is for the french people....
Canal+? That opens with regular cccam, or did a few months back. Basically never see it on free servers though. There was a guy selling clines for it on ebay.

There's a bunch of stuff.
The ones I use are loading keys from URL's and loading AFN keys from this forum.
Before I gave up on free servers, I used the free server feature, which loads lines from a file and automatically removes dead lines.
I can't speak for the others, but NCAM is not the same as OSCAM.
Fairbirds NCAM adds some useful features and is open source: https://github.com/fairbird/NCam
In my opinion, you should try this over OSCAM or OSCAMemu.
Chris230291, if you restart the NCam reader, does it fix the usb card reader?
No, it does not.
If I programmatically unplug and replug the USB reader using this: https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/243457
It “works” but because I am using Docker I have to also restart the container because of how mounts work (can only mount at startup)
If I wasn't using Docker, I'm sure that script would work perfectly.
I think I could mount the entire /dev... but I think that's a bad idea.
Even if it doesn't help my setup, I think adding the option to restart the USB device on errors is a good feature for others!
