I think you are wrong . As a wrote a few posts back i tested it with Edision mio 4k , a much powerful receiver .

I think the problem is in audio capture in PLI images and nothing else .

It doesn't work for me with OpenATV 7.6.

Apart from Groq (works, but it's better in English) and Gemini (does not work at all), today I tried the other three AI platforms.

AssemblyAI ==> Does not work

Deepgram ==> Works, but slow and not as accurate as Groq

OpenAI ==> Lets you get an API after several questions but when you run it, always appears "you exceeded your blah blah..", so it doesn't work either.

As a result, it's best to set the plugin as "Groq Only" and disable all others I think.

Whats the point of asking for help from more experienced coders then obfuscating all your code.
Yes its a simple obfuscate that is easily decompiled, but it is still annoying.
The whole point of enigma2 community is you keep your code open, so others can read it, assist with it, make sure there is nothing dodgy in it. And other people can learn from it.

This is not a plugin I would ever use, but I like the idea of this plugin.
So I was going to have a look at your source code. (Yes I have it now), and address some of the issues some people are reporting.

Vu+Uno4kSE (openatv 7.6) I've just installed plugin and with grog it shows "rec (dvb) ..." and "no speech'' in the top left too

SF8008 receiver with OpenAtv 7.6, I installed the plugin, in the upper left corner it shows Rec(DVB)... and Transcribing Translating, everything changes, but there are no subtitles anywhere.

I guess it would be wise to wait until the outcome of the efforts or evaluation of KiddaC

Also installed the plugin with Groq API keys with DVB capture message in upper left corner. I tried with various countries

( Croatian , Serbian , Italian..) but without subtitles. OpenAtv 7.6 Beta , DM800se.

Ok looking at the readme, I cant post any amends. But I can send amends to the author.

First things first - lets walk before we run. Most of this thread says it only really works with groq (for now). So I have removed all other AI models. (done) Thats 500 lines of code deleted.

2) Unless users actually edit the settings file on first run, by stopping enigma2 with init 4, (edit file), init 3. Then the groq.key that has now been placed in etc/enigma2/groq.key will never be read. And I am to lazy to manually enter it into that setting. We need a new function to read that file if there is no reference in the settings file. (done)

4) Settings need to be translatable into other languages. Easy enough to add

5) Green button will not currently work in settings to save

6) there is named colours in this plugin. Never use named colours only hex values
