the API keys can be added manually via the plugin GUI or in the /etc/enigma2/settings file manually. You need to kill enigma before making changes to the file (init 4, edit file, init 3).

Install the add-on, go to config and Enable Show Keys. Add something to each line or just the API key you want to use (for example i just add 1,2,3 etc),then save the settings. Restart GUi or Reboot receiver. After that you can follow the steps to edit the settings file to more easily add the keys.Alternatively, you can just add the lines to your settings file:

config.plugins.AISubtitles.api_key=(insert groq key here)

config.plugins.AISubtitles.api_key_gemini=

config.plugins.AISubtitles.api_key_openai=

I haven't been able to make the addon work on my two zgemma h9s SE and two OS Nino Plus with OpenATV 7.6, but based on the comments here people seem to have very positive feedback so far, kudos to the dev that made the addon.

Anyone managed to get gemini working?

When I choose gemini only, lines are all blank and at the top of screen appears "gemini empty".

But groq works ok, however sometimes translations are too long and a bit irrelevant.

I'd like to see if gemini would work better.

Nonetheless, big thanks once again to the author for this great plugin.

It’s the same. Below you can see the Enigma2 console commands:

init 0 Deep Standby

init 1 Stops Enigma2 and network

init 2 Stops Enigma2

init 3 Starts Enigma2 normally

init 4 Stops Enigma2

init 5 Stops Enigma2

init 6 Reboots the box

So, i was digging around and found out the pcm stream captured by the tool is 0kb in size, the audio stream cannot be captured on weak HW like my zgemma h9 SE and Edison OS nino, not a problem produced by the plugin. Just in case anyone else gets a similar problem.

Where do the API key GroqCloud and the Gemini API key need to be copied ?

I have the same problem and I checked in my Google account and the requests are coming from the plugin

But it seems there are too many requests

Where can I get the OpenAI key ?

Connect to your box (IP address) with PuTTY. Enter login & password.
