Hello everyone, I'd like some advice on how to achieve a more or less real-time translation because the plugin is really lagging behind. SF8008 OpenATV 7.6. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

I have not tried this plugin for a while, but considering it is... or was, currently having to read the stream chunk, extract the audio, upload the audio to be translated, process the tranlsation, download the translation, show the translation. You are never going to get instant translation. The only way that is nearly possible if your own computer was doing all the work. And enigma2 boxes are never going to be able to do that.

Could you upgrade this plugin or create a new one from scratch that translates Teletext and DVB subtitles using AI?

I think it would be very easy for you and it would serve many users who are eagerly waiting for something like this.

There is such a plugin, but unfortunately it is not free.

I dont know if you are talking to me or ammarbary, but its not easy for me, I have no idea how subtitles work on enigma2 boxes. Plus I am putting my feet up nowadays. Just tweaking my own existing plugins, then I am done.

Okay, no problem (actually I was hoping it would be possible). I will then continue my subscription to the paid plugin.

My boxes only work with kiddaC.Should be the same with this version:

I changed a line in aisubtitlesoverlay.py

self.chunk_seconds = 2.0 (before it was 3.6)

With the fast setting it is faster but not optimal.

The first 2-3 minutes almost no lag ,than lags a little

is there anybody on the forum to tell me how to change the display to english?

on page 23 everything is explained how to change the language to English. We are waiting for version 3.0, thank you.Ammarbadry

Hi, my green button was set to call plugin browser screen, but after installing the latest version, now I have this:

When I check at Hotkey settings it looks it's still on Plugin Browser, but it's not.

How do I fix this?

I installed it on my Openspa image, the best in the world, and it works well, but for me the translation is complete nonsense.....

After the task begins, the stream works for 10 seconds, then freezes, but the subtitles continue.
