Dream Elite 7.2 image is one of the most challenging images to install
but it worth the effort and the sweat

A smooth, easy-to-install, and great image.

Have you 900 or 920? Maybe you could pass me your backup...

Change the skin; this one is heavy on any image, whether it’s DreamOS or open source.

but what makes this image unique is the skin. So what skin do you recommend?

I meant changing the skin and trying again. The skin works well for me on this image and is very light, with no noticeable issues.
Here is the list of skins installed on the image.
I tried the skin on open-source images and found it to be heavy, so I thought it might be the cause.

Ok, I'll try DE fhd and report. Many tks. In any case Now the problem of opening the channel list with the down arrow key seems to be solved, the list opens and is immediately "interactive". However, changing channels is still slow, not at every change, but almost. Especially if I change channels via the list that I open with the down arrow; changing with the right arrow is a little better, but still random, that is, with a quick click it sometimes takes 2 or 3 seconds at least... Later I'll try the recommended skin and report back. Always hoping that some good friend who has DE on 900 can send me a backup... Anyway, thanks everyone.

Update: I flashed DE 7.1 and everything works perfectly....how is this possible? Now I'll try reflashing 7.2 again if I have time (but it's the third time and I don't see what could change....) One question. If I only update DEP from 7.1 to 7.2, would I get the same result? What substantial differences are there between 7.1 and 7.2? Because if there aren't many, I'd leave 7.1.

Version 7.2 is an important update with clear improvements in performance and organization
There are no major changes in the overall design, but the experience is now easier, faster, and more stable
-
Just leave your receiver with the previous version for now
newer software isn't always better either
-
I think Stream Relay isn’t working on the previous version
