Is there any way to create a channel that plays movies stored on my VU hard drive all the time?

yes, playing all movies and creating a specified channel where I can select by RC.

It's not going to be possible because the contents of your HDD change. And in what order? The drivers vary and some do not recognise the EOF mark and just sit there. And surely you would want to continue from where you last left off instead of starting all over from the beginning.
Surely it's easier to just press the list/PVR/file list button and select the recording you want.
