When I downloaded an image other than DreamOS 2.5, it doesn't work and displays a red screen, preventing me from accessing the image. The only images that work on the device are the old Marilyn (2.5) images and other older images. However, the IP address appears without any problems when entering recovery mode. Please help! The reason for this problem is that the device was perfectly normal before I downloaded a backup of the egami-11 image. When I tried to access it, the red light appeared, and that's when the problem started. Thank you all.

My friend, I've written before that it's not a good idea to load images into Dreambox that aren't compatible with Dreambox, but when a problem arises, how do you get out of it? But many people don't listen, they just do what they want.

Repair your dm920 kernel // Rescue Loader

All of that worked. The problem is that when I put an image on the internal flash drive, for example, OpenATV, the image doesn't boot, and the device's internal screen displays "Dreambox" and is stuck on the red light without booting into the image. However, when I load the Marilyn image or the device's original image (2.5), the device works perfectly and boots from the image normally.

My friend, I told you that Open TV is not compatible with Dreambox because many people have destroyed their Dreambox. You keep trying, but it's your business. It works as you want, just like other people. You should have installed Gemini and that's it.

OpenATV is certainly not responsible for everything that some opponents repeatedly claim. It is not responsible for the global climate crisis, nor for Dreambox being insolvent, nor for anyone being unhappy with their personal situation.
Therefore, people should not simply believe such exaggerated and unreasonable claims. Much of it is simply false and is only spread to discredit OpenATV.

I’ve used OpenATV for all my Dreamboxes—the DM820, DM900, and DM One.
There are some driver issues, though.
Peter Pan is a nice image, too.

I have nothing against Open TV but I had experience with my dreambox. So I know it very well. I only tried to install it on my dreambox once and during the installation I had a problem and I couldn't install other images anymore. I managed to somehow make my dreambox with great difficulty. I have nothing against people wanting to install Open TV but I'm speaking from my experience so of course anyone who wants to can install it. I only have Germini and everything works perfectly and that's it.

If it stops working, restore it via the BIOS.

Thank you all, the problem has been solved

1* flash the soft with the finger system on the front panel and power up the switch.
2* flash the GP.4.2 soft. When you reboot, turn the box off and on again in service mode.
3* flash the soft you like...ok.
NB: It's always the same kernel as the box, which isn't overwritten. The problem is that each soft uses its own kernel, and it seems to be designed specifically to cause this problem and only use the one you installed. It's annoying, but that's how it is.
