  • Right then,I got my hands on a vias@t card and thought i would add it to my server,so......thought i would do a complete upgrade while at it :doubt:
    installed this-- http://linuxsat-support.com/li…-1-3-install-package.html

and got all sorts of crazy ecm times so sacked it off and went back to my original set up and just add the new card.

but after going back to 10.04 my powered usb hub isnt seen anymore,i have 2 powered usb hubs and cannot get either seen via lsusb :too_sad:
tried booting with usb hub connected and then booting server and logging in and then connecting usb hub but no joy.

anybody have any suggestions to get the hub seen again?

  • did u scan usb in oscam? mine would not get picked up unless the reader and card was in it

  • remember as well on each reboot the hub moves, i got to still lock it

  • Cheers G.
Was me being a plank,I refused to believe i had 2 knackered hubs, but guess what.............both hubs are kaput.Very odd when they both worked before i did the upgrades :doubt:

But i decided to go and buy a brand new hub and it worked straight away. Oh well you learn somethin new every day
