setting up server in linux pc?

hello to all i have a server setting up in vu uno but now i want to move this server to my pc!
I must use linux?
In my pc i have windows7 32bit can install ubuntu and run together?
My pc must be on 24 hours a day? When it closed the server off?
I there any ready-to-install package?
In my vu uno i run oscam6018/cccam2.1.3!
