Vu+ Solo plug help

Bit of a random one but, my solo as most has a 2 pin plug which I use a 'shaving adapter' for to to adapt it to a 3 pin uk plug.

Question is can I cut of the 2 pin plug and wire a new 3 pin one cirectly to it? Reason being the way I have them plugged in it sticks out too far with the adapter etc and keeps getting knocked and is gonna get broke.

What do you mean a peice of wire with a 3 pin plug on? I would still have to iprn the box and wire it inside.

Thought it would be as easy as said but wanted to make sure before I brake any thing lol.

Think i'll just go for the chop and new plug.
