Dreambox 800HD Clone Smartreader Device Settings for Oscam?

    Please Help!!! or mercy,,, I have an Dreambox 800HD (clone) with cccam working with a usb smartreader ver 1.4 no problem:-) Now trying to sort Oscam as the reader with the USB smartreader,, BY any chance does anybody have a working USB smartreader with oscam? Please what are the device settings for the oscam server file?
    And what image Blackhole, ozoon or nemesis??

    Hi paulbrit, a quick hello in Introductions is required..


    Telnet to the dreambox with this command dmesg this will give you the correct output for the smartreader, you should see something like this /dev/ttyUSB0...


    Device and protocol for the [reader] is like below;

    Code
    [reader]
protocol = mouse
device = [COLOR='#FF0000']/dev/ttyUSB0[/COLOR]

    Its an Ozoon image with the smartreader working with cccam
    SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyUSB0 smartreader+


    and the command dmesg does not reveal the USB port and have tried
    [reader]
    protocol = mouse
    device = /dev/ttyUSB0


    in oscam on the same image as above with out success hence the question has anybody there got a working oscam with smargo reader (genuine smartreader)

    In stead of mouse use the smartreader protocol


    [reader]
    protocol = smartreader
    device = bus:device ( should be something like 001:003 )


    To find the exact bus:device for your smargo go to oscam's webif / readers / scan usb, what you want looks like this


    Bus 001 Device 006: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC

    You need to replace your oscam binary for one that supports smargo readers. I dont know your image so here are files for both oe.16 & oe2 images.
