  • I currently have compiled the latest OScam build running on a dedicated linux box (Ubuntu 10.04LTS)

    This is setup for OScam to read my s~ly card via an Omnikey 3121 and it works perfectly fine.
    My client boxes are a mix of DM500's and Openboxes

    I update the entitlements on the card with the following method (as it's the only way I have ever been able to get it to work) ;

    DM500 running CCcam 2.1.3 softcam ==[C: Line]==> CCcam213.x86 ==[Newcamd port]==> OScam

    I have just purchased the following cards : AlJazeera(0500), Cyfra+(0B01) & Satellite BG(0100) with 3 additional 3121 readers

    I would like to add these to my server alongside the S~ly card, and have a couple of questions.

    Clients connecting directly to OScam or indirectly via CCcam.x86 (as per my above example) will not be able to receive ECM's other than those for 0963

    Example : The Newcamd line in "oscam.conf" only allows for 1 CAID

    [newcamd]
    port = xxxxx@0963:000000
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    mgclient = 1

    Is there a way around this so that I can still update entitlements on the cards ? Is there a way to add multiple ports / CAID to the [newcamd] section of oscam.conf ?

    Any help greatly welcomed.

  • As an example mine is set like this under oscam.user

    [account]
    user = update
    pwd = update
    description = for local mgcamd or DVBAPI
    group = 1,2
    uniq = 1
    au = card1,card2
    caid = ****

    Running n line on local client box under cccam

    N: 192.168.0.199 19000 update update 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 256 edit local ip and port to suit

    Hope this helps you

  • Thanks Chris !!! Can you elaborate a bit further

    [oscam.reader]

    [oscam.user]

    Code
    [account]
    user = update
    pwd = update
    description = for local mgcamd or DVBAPI
    group = 1,2,[COLOR='#FFFFFF']3,4[/COLOR]
    uniq = 1
    au = [COLOR='#FFFFFF']***uk,jsc,satbg,cyfra+[/COLOR]
    caid = ****  [COLOR='#FFFFFF']<====== What Goes Here ?

    [/COLOR]

    [oscam.conf]

    Code
    port = xxxxx@[COLOR='#FFFFFF']0963:000000[/COLOR]
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    mgclient = 1

    It's the CAID part that's confusing me ?

  • The caid from each of your cards, so it will be 0963 for slyuk make sure to insert a comma between each caid this should then get them updating however i believe you will need local client box with n line connected to your motorized dish and pointing at the different satellites as the updates are due, also channel selected must be of a paid for channel from that card. IE slyuk updating SlY1

    I hope this helps

  • Thanks again mate,

    So would I be ok to assume this is correct ?

    Code
    [account]
    user = update
    pwd = update
    description = for local mgcamd or DVBAPI
    group = 1,2,3,4
    uniq = 1
    au = ***uk,jsc,satbg,cyfra+
    caid = 0963,0500,0100,0b01

    Code
    [newcamd]
    port = xxxxx@0963:000000
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    mgclient = 1

    And the "port = xxxxx@0963:000000" Doesn't matter that we only have the caid 0963 ?

    Cheers

  • the port=xxxxx@0963:000000 is the port you have open on the router for users to connect to the card that has nothing to do with the actual updating the card.

    both my cards have the same caid so I am not sure how you will set this for users to access the cards using only 1 port
    this would be something you may have to play with ie

    port=xxxxx@0963:000000
    port=xxxxx@0500:000000
    etc etc

    or maybe it will be

    port=xxxxx@0963,0500:000000

    hope this helps you mate

  • This is the problem I'm having trouble getting my head round.

    Quote

    port=xxxxx@0963:000000
    port=xxxxx@0500:000000
    etc etc

    or maybe it will be

    port=xxxxx@0963,0500:000000

    None of these are valid under the [newcamd] section in oscam.conf

    For example If I have all 4 cards successfully running under oscam and connect to the server using newcamd on port xxxxx. I can only receive ecm's for 0963 requests the other readers are just ignored.

    Anyone know how to do this ?

  • Would this apply if i had two cards for the same profile so that thye are read independantly of each other for seperate readers?
