Hi, looking to buy apple tv.. just a bit unsure which operating system. so the question is: can any 2nd generation ATV be jailbroken

Every ATV 2 can be jailbroken(2nd generation),and iside is IOS 5.02-latest(not sure if ios 6 jailbroken yet).Latest Jailbroke IOS is 4.4.4 untethered.......so...god luck.

Getting one of these tomorrow so keep us updated how you get on, I'm getting the 3rd gen so need to do some reading.

3rd generation of ATV not possilblle to JB yet mate,so my advice is to not to buy it,as @MuscleNerd said some time ago not supported(maybe newer be):sad::sad:
