passwords to restart oscam

Thought I was nearly there!

Uploaded a test CCcam.config file, which updated fine and showed me connected to a couple of test peers.

Amended the following Oscam files via the webif (IP:8888) .config, server, services, srvid and .user. During this process I did what I thought was the sensible thing and changed the oscam user id and oscam admin id and passwords in the above files. I think restarted Oscam and was given a user name and password request box.

However, none of the combos work (either of the 2 new ones or the default admin/admin).

Which should it be? Can I get round this? Are there any restrictions in captial/lower case letters, symbols, numbers etc that might have caused me to bugger it up?

Thanks - what is the location of the oscam files? I thought I needed to do that but couldn't locate them.

Couldn''t find by FTP but did a search file Debian file manager and appears located: /usr/local/etc (in case anyone else needs to know).

I have checked the password via the oscam.config file and despite entering correctly still doesn't like. Even tried changing back to admin/admin without success.

I had this config file recommended by a friend:

Am I doing anything wrong? Which command do I enter in terminal to restart oscam?

Trying to access Webif by http://192.168.1.65:8888/ using the webif passwords from the config file. I initially want to decode a UK 0963 card and then Viaccess when get another reader.

A reboot to the PC seemed to do there trick!!!
