unable to open port on router

so close yet so far. have got everything working bar the external connection, im using a dlink dsl 2680 and i when i forward a port to my server i get them error port closed when i check it using portford.com. im mystified at this as i had it working last week.

Silly question maybe - have you rebooted your router? If you have - go back in to the router settings to see if the port forward entry still exists, then check again;

put your port in there to see if it is open.

no joy mate the entry is still there? why would it not be open, firewall maybe?

If your using CCcam is this in your cfg?

SERVER LISTEN PORT : port number

Then try and see if port is open.
