Openbox S16 Scrambled Channels

    Hi - I purchased an s16 openbox and I have a fixed dish. I have set up the box and can view FTA.


    My problem is the subscription channels. I have a card that I know works fine, however I get channel scrambled on my S16?


    The card shows up in the conditional access menu with 3 separate lines of code(hex) - sorry I'm new to satellites. So I think it can read the card ok.


    The supplier of the card showed me it working. he said to leave the channel on and it will eventually de-scramble the picture once it upgrades itself?


    It has been sitting on the same channel for about 1-2 hours? Still scrambled. I've read a lot of bad stuff about the S16 Box, have I wasted my money?


    I've reset to factory and redone the setup and channel scanning but still no good.


    Does it make any difference if the card is in or out of the slot when setting it up? I tried both.


    I see 7 BISS Keys but have no idea what they do? should I delete them?


    Any help greatly appreciated.


    I wrote earlier, S16 with card does not work!
    For it to work you need to include emulator Mcas.
    But the support of the S16 emulator is missing.
    Therefore, nothing can be done except through the channels,
    that you get when you make manual adjustments.

    is it possible to manually tune these scrambled channels.
