However, Microsoft are chucking money at this and hoping to change this, pushing virtualisation and UEFI (new more secure method of booting machine, which it is expected will replace the very dated BIOS system).
For MCP and MCITP's (microsoft qualified/certified), or even other professionals, if you are looking to put yourself in a prime position to get more work, perhaps you may want to consider taking the Windows 8 unit/exam.
