I'm looking into getting this card and exchanging it via my eagle stb, is it easy to exchange/get updates on the card?

Not sure if cccam reads it on its own,, but you can use oscam + Cccam 2.1.3, here is the config for oscam which you can edit in the folder etc/tuxbox/config.

Will an eagle update the card or is it a case of putting it in the spider every so often?

I used to own the via3 jsc card, the way it worked then was you activated the card and got 12 months entitlements.
No more updates needed. -

Oscam has three files that need editted, .config, .server, .user. Which are found in etc/tuxbox/config.
You just replace the details which are in those folders with what i posted.
The eagle will definately update the card, though i`m not sure if this card needs monthly updates or it comes already activated. -

When you open each file delete everything thats there and replace it with these new details..

No, the n line makes it look like the local card is in cccam,, you would give out c lines as normal.

I got one and fitted it to smart reader on PC server ( it's updated for the year) bought from the well known bay place. Works a treat under 2.2.1.
It's gets hammered on Saturdays the rest of the week run of the mill use.
